Seeking A Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part Time (1-3 Days) For Dental Office in Hayward, CA

Compensation: $70-75 an hour - Employment type: Part-Time

We are a patient-centered dental practice seeking a skilled and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office values quality care, strong patient relationships, and a collaborative team environment. We provide sufficient time so our hygienists can focus on thorough care, patient education, and building trust with each patient.

We are currently seeking a hygienist for 1-3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional days in the future based on mutual interest and practice needs.

Position Details: Part Time: 1-3 days per week (opportunity for additional days available) Hours/Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Appointment times: Prophylaxis: 1 hour,  SC/RP (half mouth only ) 1 hour

Responsibilities: Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance. Administer local anesthesia as needed for periodontal therapy, take diagnostic dental radiographs as needed, educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care, build strong rapport and lasting relationships with patients, collaborate effectively with the doctor and team to deliver excellent patient care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (California), Ability to administer local anesthesia, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
